0–2 Seedlings Room

A warm, responsive environment designed to support infants through personalised care, early movement, and sensory exploration.
Our Seedlings space welcomes up to eight young children, offering a calm, nurturing environment where each child is truly known. The room includes its own private, age-appropriate yard, allowing children to explore and play comfortably within a safe and familiar space. Our educators follow the RIE (Resources for Infant Educarers) approach, embedding respectful, responsive caregiving into everyday routines and interactions. This supports strong relationships, independence, and a deep sense of security for each child. The children have access to a small and cosy cot room.

About the Class

Our Infant Care program prioritises connection, comfort, and curiosity. With a calm, nurturing environment, educators build strong relationships through gentle routines, one-on-one moments, and responsive care.

The space is intentionally designed for safe movement, exploration, and early developmental experiences. Infants are encouraged to engage with sensory materials, practice early motor skills, and enjoy meaningful interactions that support their emotional and physical development.

What They Learn

  • Early movement foundations: rolling, reaching, grasping, crawling.
  • Sensory exploration that stimulates curiosity and awareness.
  • Social-emotional development through secure relationships.
  • Language emergence through songs, stories, and daily communication.
  • Confidence through consistent routines and responsive caregiving.
