2–3 Sprouts Room

A balanced environment where toddlers explore, build essential skills, and develop confidence through hands-on learning.
Our Sprouts room, with a capacity of ten children, is a vibrant, intentionally designed space where toddlers explore and learn through hands-on play. Guided by the RIE approach, educators foster respectful, responsive interactions while providing sensory, creative, and problem-solving experiences that build independence, confidence, and curiosity. Strong, respectful relationships are at the heart of the room, helping children feel safe and empowered to try new things. The space gently prepares children for Bloomers Preschool, supporting the skills and routines needed for a smooth transition.

About the Class

The toddler environment is thoughtfully crafted to support active, inquisitive learners. Children are encouraged to explore new skills, practise communication, and participate in early social experiences.

Educators provide a balance of guided activities and open-ended play, helping toddlers develop coordination, problem-solving abilities, and self-expression. Consistent routines build a sense of belonging and security while promoting autonomy.
